The devil is not omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient! And many Christians have suffered many pains and tail under him thinking that he can see and know our thoughts. Brethren, he does not have access to our mind and thought, all he does is manufacture a situation and based on your response, you reveal your mind to him. Are you transformed by the word or not?
The only thing that he has against us is the generational curses that were put in place either by us or our parents, the other thing that he has is the studied patterns of our lives, and from this he can put systems of replication or repeat without much of his own resources needed.
As Christian’s we need to unlearn worldly patterns, only then can the word of God fully become functional, yes sometimes we are the weapon we form against ourselves and most of the time these weapons prosper. Introspection is a very big part of the Christian walk, God wants us to be accountable for our actions because that is were growth kicks in. The weapons that we form against ourselves are a real problem. They come from learned behaviors and cultural patterns, and God is not impressed with these patterns, were we are just surviving for ourselves and family, God is not impressed with an average and mediocre life. This does not glorify him, makes it seem as if Christ died in vain.
After we have confessed and proclaimed our heavenly riches, what does our actual walk look like? Are we walking in alignment to a behavior that produces the results that we are looking for? Wisdom is one of the characters of the Holy Spirit(He is even called the Spirit of Wisdom), our walk with Christ also demands that wisdom is built in us from situations that we go through, the Holy Spirit cannot let us move forward if we have not mastered ourselves and unlearnt what the world has taught us as gospel. .
How are we applying the word in our daily lives? How are we walking to ensure that this word comes to pass and let it not end with declarations? The Bible says work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. This scripture on its own tells you that there are things that need physical work importer for the result to be seen. In this world we need to let the Word of God direct each and every path of our lives, not just sections. God is waiting for us to give him our everything, not just our spiritual wellbeing, He wants to be glorified in every area. When we gave our lives to Christ, we didnt say a only a portion, but our entire life, because essentially it belongs to Him.
